I know I have stopped wishing some time ago. I never had any
resolutions/wishes before but this year I have not one but 10 of them!
I want a change a now. Possibly a change I have been longing for; a
change that will startle any people; a change that will definitely
change me!

Okie okie.. don’t get confuse. Let’s get down to short list of my wishes for the brand new year:

For
4 years, I have been sporting a straight rebonded hair. Guess it is
time for a change. How about long locks with sexy curls?

I
need to shed 15 kg to be back to a healthy weight! I don’t know how I
am going to push myself to do it, but I have to.. somehow!

I
don’t care where.. but I just wanna get the feel of going to another
country. Of course, going to the place in the postcard will be what I
really want

The
last 3 years have been wasted. Don’t wanna waste another precious year
in my life for anyone now. I better start looking for a bf now! Any
volunteers eh?

I will be launching a new blog on shopping every soon. Every girls’ dream blog!

Every
year will start with a bang, u know the usual countdown parties and
fireworks. But this year started quietly. Just me with my darling.
Praying that a different start will give me a different perspective for
a new year!

January
Looks
like 2007 started with a bang! Welcomed 2007 with 7mins of fireworks,
and the month of Jan is definitely a month of celebration, with
Thaipusam and Ponggal. I enjoyed it.

February
Duh! It was the dreaded V-day month. Lonely one - as always.

March
I started The Nostalgic Friday series and now after 27th week, it is still going on strong.

Presented in an international conference - that was my second oral presentation and was freaky!

May
The
maiden bloggers (MIB) gathering. Few months after that, we formed a
team and currently working on a ‘kutty’ project. Lets look forward what
we can do in 2008, as a team of course.

June
I
traveled , traveled and traveled. Driving on old town roads, sleeping
in small chalet surrounded by jungle, coldness, Internet-less life. Oh
boy.. what a month!

July
Took a short break from my travel, and teamed with other MIBs to come up with a bloggers’ workshop - Bloggers Buff 2007!

August
Month
of drama. I can’t believe it has been 4 months since we got robbed.
Feels like yesterday,and I still haven’t recovered from it. Even slight
noise startles me till today. And no, they have not been caught yet. As
a result of the robbery, we got Bobby. And I graduated.

September
My pathetic birthday (which everyone forgot :P) was in this month

October
Started a postcard series. So far, there are only 2 posts done under this series.

November
It
can never get busier. With Deepavali and work (my colleague works from
home… grrr!!), I felt like I needed 48 hours a day to stay afloat.
November - a month I said goodbye to two of the most important persons in my life.

December
Bought my own dotcom.
In the end, I gained a total of 8kg this year. Damn!

This
is the last post for the year 2007. I will be taking a break from
blogging till Jan 1st, 2008. Thanks a lot for being here with me for a
whole dramatic year. I will come back with brand new resolutions for
2008! Take care till then.

Spent most of my free time either with my new darling or in shopping
complexes I guess it is an unofficial competition between the
shopping malls on who has the best X’mas deco for 2007! *sigh.. talk
about commercialization!

We have a small man-made pond in my garden. Mom and bro being pet lovers, have at least 30 koi in
it. Don’t ask me how, they just grew up in harmony with two pots of
lotus plants. Occasionally we have lotus blooming in there, and this
morning I saw this flower. Pretty nah?

After breaking up with my ex-boyfriend,
I immediately found myself attracted to this hunk. Hopefully this is
not a rebound relationship. I long for him to stay with me for a long
long time.I wanna live happily ever after with him - ala the fairy
tales.

This time around I was more careful with my choice. Not
to say I did mistake in choosing my ex, but right now there are so many
‘hunks’ around!!! I was spoilt for choices!! Thankfully I had my
friends and sister with me, while I make the important decision.

Well, I don’t understand half of his specifications, but who cares? He looks good and so far he works pretty well too.

Good guys come with a price.

My sis turned 21 on Friday, 14th Dec and we threw a party for her &
her friends the next day. The colour blue rulled the night, and thanks
to everyone who turned up in the theme colour.

Now, about 15hours after the party ended, I am stil feeling tired. I think its better for the photos to speak in my behalf

Busy weekend ahead for me.  Have a nice weekend guys and see you all!

I’m not one of those who sends at least one social network invite per
day to all their contacts. But I always manage two social network
accounts at a time. Either friendster - hi5, or friendster - orkut, or
friendster - tagged or now.. friendster - facebook. My hi-5 and orkut
accounts are officially dead now, and I will be closing down tagged in
few days time. Friendster was my very first network site and I don’t
think I will close it down anytime soon.

But now I see myself hooked to facebook.

First
I find it rather troublesome and to certain extent, annonying. What
with the vampire bites and poking my eyes??? Man, I was clueless at
least for the first two weeks! It was a slow learning process and now I
am logging into facebook few times a day

Yes, I’m a certified
facebook addict! Do you have an account? If yes, join me there and lets
start the pillow fight. If no, hmm.. just register an account and spank
me, so that I know you are in!

I was in love with him, and I still am. A four-year relationship is not
something anyone could just forget in a blink of an eye, and I don’t
think I even want to attempt to forget him. The four years was a roller
coaster ride for both of us. Sometimes it was smooth, sometimes it was
bumpy. Guess that is what life is all about.

I
still remember the first day I saw him. Four years ago when I was still
fresh from college, I remember being pretty naive then. His appreance
is what caught my innocent eyes. Eventually I learnt that he was as
good as his looks. A well-built feature what anyone could die for. He
was cool.

The last four years, I was in a learning mode. From
master degree to social networking to blogging to what not! I was
learning them all, and he was there for me the entire time. I don’t
think I could have pull it through without him. I loved him for that. I
always do.

Now, the time has come for both of us to move on. I
think I am ready for bigger challenge, and he thinks its time for him
to be with someone else. It was a painful decision to make, but I know
I will have to make that decision sooner or later. I really would like
to tell him how much I adored him, how much I valued him, how much I
loved him. But wait, I think he already knew that. The time he
accompanied me to the hospital when I was doing my research, the time
he spent with me working in my study room and the beautiful moments we
shared in my bed will always be in my memory.

I think I should just stop crying and let him go. He has to go.

Nostalgic Friday - 25

This
is my 25th post under the Nostalgic Friday series. I know some of my
readers who purposely would visit on Fridays looking for 80s & 90s
songs. Thank you guys!

The song for this week comes from the
original Billa in the 1980, the year I was born. Well, it is not
exactly original, but a remake of Amitabh’s Don. Now that SRK has
already acted in a remake of Don, it’s Ajith’s turn to act in the
remake of Billa! Okie.. I am not very fond of Ajith, I admit that. So
let’s hope the latest Ajith’s offering will change my perception of
him. The movie is due to release on Dec 12 (I suppose), Rajinikanth’s
birthday and the trailer is all over the Internet.
